Persuasive Games

I can’t use google translate for this page easily so I had a hard time understand what is going on in this article and I hope I was right.

The Micdonald’s videogame’s part is the most focused part I was on, and it classified the advantage of this “procedural rhetoric” focus on the rhetoric way by PC hardware to compose and explain actions and outcomes which have rich meaning in real life.

The gameplay and machanics of Micdonald is really interesting, the concequence and action is linked to another and it is a complecated system, and this game use chained karma to tell the truth and environment of fastfood industry and it is meaningful and clear. I like it. By the reading it does gave me more feeling about the advantage of game mechanic in explaining things- it has advantage beyond speech, writing or image, I guess this is what the writer want us to understand, to acknowledge game as a illustration tool which better than these methods in some aspects.

Mario Teaches Typing

What a lovely game! I like this game as it takes me back to 10 years ago when I was learning how to type and this kind of software is widely used in my mom’s company as at that time digital management is growing there and in every member’s PC will have a likely game, and this one is friendly, have a similar mechanic with classic mario game and I love to see how acceptable it is to kids.

I enjoyed it a lot as I was playing this game and the level design is decent, it won’t force you to go for a difficult level at the beginning and it makes the process very slowly from repeats to unique combinitions. Good.
